This piece developed out of my peace work. It features a crow as messenger holding the word “Imagine”; a small raku pendant of a man in the left hand corner holding up the spiral of our horrendous perpetuation of war; the violence and death represented by the skeleton; and the peace dove flying down into our mess. The bottom of the piece of wood is rotten as has been our treatment of each other as different nations. How do we shift our values to truly align with Peace on Earth? Recognize our Oneness? And stand as the majority, together against those, the small minority, who manipulate and kill for profit and power? I don’t know…I’m just a nutty artist.
